Tallinn
Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, is one of the oldest cities in Northern Europe. The city has preserved its medieval surroundings with the Old Town with its winding cobbled streets and buildings that date between the 11th and 15th century, being the best example.
Despite retaining its medieval character, Tallinn is the one of the most rapidly developing cities in the Baltic Sea region. In amongst the medieval architecture are modern, tall glass and steel buildings and large shopping malls.
