Baroque Museum
A museum of European notoriety, the Baroque Museum displays its understanding of baroque paintings from the 17th and 18th centuries. Excitingly, after ten years of concealment, a terracotta model of the Adoration of the Shepherds has been unmasked again.
Salzburg's Cathedral
The beautiful cathedral has a magnificent history behind it which can only really be appreciated upon visiting the site and seeing for yourself. It is the city’s most significant piece of church architecture and has survived fires and bombs to be rebuilt, enlarged and expanded. The grand façade and monumental dome symbolises the most inspiring early Baroque structure north of the Alps.
Mozart Square
The statue of the famous composer dominates the square and has a lovely history behind it. There is no denying that whilst staying in Salzburg it is near impossible to avoid any reminders of Mozart; his image is on stamps and confectionary boxes to name a few, but the statue is by far the most visually pleasing.
The Sound of Salzburg Show & Dinner
This is a popular event for tourists and fans of ‘The Sound of Music’. The show is presented in English with period costumes and can be combined with dinner. It features the melodies that made Salzburg famous and is a very enjoyable way to be entertained in the evening.
Salzburg Zoo
A pleasurable day out for children and adults alike. View over 800 animals both native and exotic, set within an attractive landscape with picnic areas and picturesque gardens throughout.
