Munich Highlights Tour

This tour gives a comprehensive guide to Munich. The highlights are Koenigsplatz, Old and New Pinakothek, Odeonsplatz, the former artists' quarter Schwabing, the impressive Ludwig and Prinzregenten Streets and the Angel of Freedom. In the town centre there are views of Bavarian Parliament, Deutsches Museum, the Royal Palace and Opera House. In the ancient part of town you shall see the well-known Hofbraeuhaus, medieval town gates and the colorful open air market (Viktualienmarkt).

City Tour with Olympic Area

Enjoy a comprehensive tour of downtown Munich, where you will see famous sights such as: Koenigsplatz, Old and New Pinakothek, Isartor, the Royal Palace, the Angel of Freedom and Odeonsplatz. This is followed by an excursion to the Olympic park which has been an asset to modern Munich ever since the Summer Olympics of 1972 and which today has become an attractive sports and leisure centre. The platform on the Olympic Tower provides a 'superior' view over the city of Munich.

City Tour with Nymphenburg Palace

After a comprehensive tour of the city, where you will see famous sights such as; Konigs Square, Isartor (one of the old city gates), the Old Town Hall, Residenz (a former seat of Bavarian Kings which is now a museum), and Ludwigs Street, we pass the Olympic grounds on our way to the Palace of Nymphenburg, the former summer residence of the Bavarian Prince-electors and Kings. One of the highlights during your guided tour through the palace will be the famous beauty gallery of King Ludwig I.

City Tour with Old Pinakothek

On this tour you will see the principal landmarks of Munich with a short stop in the city centre. The tour will take you past Sendlinger Tor and Isartor (the old city gates) and on into the town centre, where you will get to see the oldest church in Munich, St.Peters, and at 11 o'clock on Marienplatz we will watch the delightful glockenspiel (Carillon). Our route will take you past the impressive New Town Hall and also the Residenz, a former seat of Bavarian Kings, which is now a Museum. Another highlight will be the visit to the world famous Old Pinakothek (picture gallery) where the guide will comment on a selected number of Old Masters from the 14th to the 18th centuries.
