Ponte Vecchio Bridge

The Ponte Vecchio Bridge is the oldest in Florence and links the city. The only bridge in Florence to survive World War II is now home to exclusive jewellers and goldsmiths.

 

Duomo Cathedral

With its impressive façade and characteristic dome, the Duomo dominates the city’s skyline. It is the fourth largest cathedral in the world and took nearly 150 years to build.

 

The National Museum

The National Museum or ‘Bergello’ was once a jail, but now houses one of the most impressive collections of Renaissance sculpture anywhere in the world.

 

Michelangelo's David

The original Michelangelo’s David is housed in the Galleria dell'Accademia and the copy in Piazza della Signoria. The size and detail of this famous statue is truly amazing.

 

Il Battistero

The baptistery is a wonderful example of Italian, Romanesque architecture and is famed for its three bronze doors, designed by Lorenzo Ghiberti.

 

Giotto’s Bell Tower

Giotto's green, pink and white bell tower is 85 meters tall and was completed in 1359. Climb to the top of the tower for incredible views of the city.
