This tour starts off by coach, first passing Tivoli Gardens and the New Carlsberg Glyptotek (an art museum) and continues along four artificial lakes to the magnificent Gefion Fountain. We then continue to Kongens Nytorv before heading on to the old Fish Market, passing Christianborgs Palace and the National Museum on route. Here we leave the coach and board our boat. Cruising through the bustling harbour we pass many wonderful towers and famous palaces, not forgetting the Little Mermaid. Next we sail through the picturesque canals of Christianshavn where on either bank we can enjoy the sight of buildings from days gone by. The cruise continues down the beautiful canals of Frederiksholm and Gammel Strand where we finally arrive in the very heart of Copenhagen only two minutes walk from the main shopping street Stroget.

The Grand Tour of Copenhagen covers all the major sights of the capital. We pass by the 'Tivoli Gardens' and the 'Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek'. We drive through the colourful canal district, past the 'National Museum' to 'Christiansborg Palace', home to the Danish Parliament. We continue on to the old 'Stock Exchange' and across 'Kongens Nytorv', where we see the 'Royal Theatre', world famous for its Royal Ballet. The tour continues past the colourful harbour district of 'Nyhavn' to 'Amalienborg Palace', the winter residence of the Royal Family. This is followed by a visit to the 'Gefion Fountain' and the 'Little Mermaid', inspired by Andersen's fairytale. We then pay a visit to one of the many magnificent churches in Copenhagen and past 'Rosenborg Castle', where the crown jewels are protected by the Royal Guard.
