Windmills and Edam TourThis excursion brings you to the Zaanse Schans, an open air museum along the Zaan-river, just north of Amsterdam. At the turn of the century, there used to be 700 windmills here but nowadays only 5 are left. The houses are made of timber, painted green and have steep roofs withwhite windows. Here, we will visit a windmill and a wooden shoe factory.
